Should I??

well this is the year i am going to get a 4th gen! and i looked at a 1997 T/A M6 and it looks real good and i test drove it and it has 85,000 miles on it but the only thing wrong with it the head liner is ripped alittle and the back seat at the top are coming apart other than that it is a nice car but not sure i should get it!! there are 2 thing that it does not have that i want! 1. color(it's red) 2. not a WS6 i mean i sure don't mind red and it not being a WS6 but not sure i should spend my money on something that is half of what i want???? what do you guys think????

I am going to say no. Yes it will make u happy for the moment. But eventually u are going to wish that you held out for what you really wanted. I mean u could change the color of the car - but it's not the same.

have to agree with kelsey here.. don't settle for anything less than what you want. I held out for months before I found the 4th gen I wanted, and I got a hell of a deal on a low mileage car. Just wait it out. We all want to jump on that first near-perfect car, but in reality, you'll wish you'd waited. Besides.. you should hold out for an LS1

Run Away! You could get a nice LS1 car for that kinda money. Way to high for 98% of the LT1s on the market.

i sold my 93 T/A years back for 3500, (110k miles) and it had the ws6 hood.
yes it was a 93, but like justin said 9500 can most likely get u a 98 or 99 ws6

If it was 5-6 grand then yes, otherwise at this point no keep looking for that car you want even if it means u have to fly down to Florida to pick it up in the end you will be happy. I know on lS1tech.com you can find a 98 Trans am with probly 50,000 miles for $8,500-$9,000 you just have to keep looking. By time spring comes many people will be putting there cars up. So wait and keep looking

+1, like he said, by spring time, many people will be putting their cars up. you could score a LS1 M6 car for that price or even cheaper!

It seems you would be happy if the car was a ram air WS6, this is only a TA, Just looking at it, the cars looks very nice. But do what will make you happy so that when you get the car you are not disopointed in what you have. Me i would drive that in a heart beat all i want is my first V8 M6 car
