I agree, but we have like 1,700 members, and how many of them are ACTIVE. It seems just about the SAME PEOPLE respond to threads everyday!

like right now, 19 members online NOBODY is posting. still 91 guests

whats wrong with being a friendly bar? every one knows everyone here.. and since we're a regional forum, you can't expect it to have as many active members as a national forum. plus, sometimes those national forums get hard to follow.

you should change it to how many people have POSTED in the last 10 days, probably give a more accurate read on the active members.

Who cares how many people there are, All that matters is that we all get along. We all help each other, as an example go outside and find out what size socket is needed to take off your track bar. I think many of the people just dont have the time to be on this and they just come on to check any updates to any meets they can make.

That would require some custom coding that I don't really think is needed. The Active Member listing is a default display built into the software, and the only option that it gives is number of days.
Besides, I think that anyone that takes the time to register and log in to read the board should be counted as an active member. Some people just don't have much to say, or can be put off by the fact that most of us that post here regularly are a fairly tight-knit group.
