Smile Borrow Car Trailer?

Well I just purchased myself a 68 Firebird that I just couldn't turn down. Anyway its located in CT about an hour from where my house is up here in North Jersey (New Milford) think the exact mileage was about 56 miles or around there.

I am looking to go pick it up on Saturday and I have a truck all lined up but don't have a trailer yet. I can always rent one from U-haul if it gets near Saturday and I still don't have one. But i figured I would throw up a post to see if anyone had one I could borrow? I am willing to let you come along for the ride if you would like, considering its your trailer. I am willing to throw you a little money too for usage as long as it doesn't exceed the cost of just renting a U-haul.

So if anyone has one I can borrow or even a flatbed truck that would be great and would really help a F-body guy out! I would ask my South Jersey folks but its a little far for them and I feel bad for them.

Thanks,
JW

i have an available trailer only thing is i'm located in bricktown(which is south) so it might not be worth the cost of gas to get here to pick it up and to return it.

just as a little heads up I remember when I tried getting one from u-haul all of them were rented out and they told me next time i should call a week or two in advance to reserve one. this was about 2 years ago though so it might be different now.

Thanks bill, but yea I think you are right and I don't want to make trips down, up, down & up again... but I appreciate the offer!

let me know when you guys move, ill tow it for you. I can't offer the trailer I use to anyone else to borrow because its not mine, but if I tow it the owner doesn't have a problem with me borrowing it. That's how we got boon's car to j0ns house, and steve's belvedere from texas

Thanks. We'll let you know. We're hoping to be out this week...but who knows, as it's just been one thing after another with the sale of this house.
