NEW TRUCK
Traded in my GTP Grand Prix towards a 2005 Chevy Silverado
Its midnight blue, extended cab, 6ft bed, 4x4.
19000 miles, picked it up for 20k, extremely clean

 what engine size you get?
i got a 01 ECSB with the 4.8 in Blue. Dunno if its midnight blue.

nice. i got an 04 2500HD silverado with a 6.0 gets a whooping 12.9 mpg!!
`oh yea and it has a 34 gallon tank. over 100 bucks to fill that sucker.

5.3L = good motor, wonder if chevy still has the problems with the fuel pumps

 ...my 97 Ram with a 5.9 gets 11mpg and its a 36 gallon tank! But Im also running on 35s with 4:10s and 150k miles

i looked at a duramax,
i also looked a 6.0 2500...but doing the math, theres no way im shelling out 800 bucks a month for a damn truck
so i ended up keeping my payments around the same, but also got the GM 100k powertrain warranty, and a 3 year 75k GM warranty on everything else
all in all, im alot happier. still no pics since its been really crappy out and ive been working late

Congrats man!
5.3 is a great engine. My mom has it in her suburban and she gets ~14mpg around town so you might get a little better.

Sorry, totally forgot about this thread. Here is a pic finally of my truck, since i had the camera out for the SS today. Those are brand new 20" SS wheels on there if you were wondering. Sorry its so dirty

i have a 03 d max and 4 bucks a gallon is not cutting it it does get 15 on average city
