Shoot, I have had my 02 since new, and been looking for a 1st gen forever to get. Now I finally got my 68 and I am so excited to get it working. As Cody knows, now my 02 will suffer with the fact that I won't put money into it for a while, but now I have both cars I always wanted.
I am glad you decided to keep the 68, like everyone else said its just the better choice and you will always be able to get yourself a 4th gen later on.

			Stop whining!
I fight this battle all the time. I have considered cashing out on the '69 and buying a 4th gen T/A but then I realize that that's not really what I want. I've owned a 1st or 2nd gen since 2001. I've never driven them. They have always been in pieces. I'm sick to death of doing GD metalwork. But you will get numb to it. Just keep moving forward at whatever pace you can and you will be fine. You are just frustrated right now.

Getting the old car up to speed can be very frustrating. If funds are short, do not take it apart. Do small projects. And don't start any you can't afford to finish now. Your car is drivable now?

302 Ford motor in a Camaro....you're doing it wrong
If you were gunna be cool about it, it would be a Z28, with a CHEVY 302, sans the goofy Ford stickers.....

 5th gen FTW.

Actually, you should keep the 68, get the 02 SS and find a 2nd gen as well.

broke or not, you can find ways to get your car complete. barter your services, swap your lawn furniture for some valve covers, whatever you have to do to get the car done. once done, it's worth more than 5 '02 SSes. getchur priorities in line, man.
