Just got back from the Iron Maiden show at the Izod center They kicked @SS..........
Coming back in June to the PNC center and MSG.....if your a Maiden fan, you should set time aside...June 14 and June 15

All the old stuff, only "new" song was Fear of the the Dark. Played for 2 or 2-1/2 hours or so. 3 song encore......no solos....great show.

Only downside, they need to lose Janick Gers. There is no need for his sillyness on the stage. He is a complete waste of space at least on this tour.

 | This was the set list as best I can remeber......the order might be wrong towards the end...but its all there and the boys nailed every song. It was almost surreal.....

Intro - Churchill's Speech (on the video monitors)
Aces High
2 Minutes to Midnight
Revelations
The Trooper (Bruce in the Red Coat waving the British flag)
Wasted Years
The Number of the Beast (Red lighting, pyrotechnics abound)
Run to the Hills
Rime of the Ancient Mariner (could not believe they did this.....blew me away)
Powerslave
Heaven Can Wait
Can I Play With Madness? (This might have been the weakest song, the sound was cutting in and out)

Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden

Encore
Moonchild
The Clairvoyant
Hallowed Be Thy Name

Practically non stop from the time they hit the stage. Bruce must be in incredible shape or neurotic, maybe both....Adrian Smith and Dave Murray still got it. Steve Harris, nothing needs to be said and Nicko McBrain just pounding away....Bruce can't hit the really high stuff everytime anymore, but he picks his spots and nails them.

If like Maiden, this is a must see deal. No doubt. It's them at their peak, just 25 years later and there is very little, if any rust.

I agree with Mr Messiah, I hate you all.
Yeah, I saw them the last time (ok 4 times) through when they played the whole new CD. The setlist sucked but they kicked major ass. I saw them in Camden and the sound was maybe the best sound I ever heard at a metal show, so that helped.

I also agree on Jers. Leave the guitar twiriling to Warrant.

I just listened to this. So the setlist hasn't changed much.

I was a big Maiden fan when I was a kid. Haven't really paid much attention to them since then though. I think the last album of theirs I bought was Fear of the Dark.

Me and my two friends were supposed to go to this concert, but put it off for so long that our last resort came down to calling Q 1043 during a contest for 3 tickets where you have to be caller #25 and my friend was caller #24, but we are overjoyed that they are coming back in June for a few more dates. Hope the concert goes as good as this one went. Later, Jeff.

I saw them at Ozz Fest the year before last and they rocked then, too. Definitely a good show.
