well, there goes my first T5
blew up the T5 in the mustang today. i was mad because someone keyed/scratched the quarterpanel on it, so as i was driving it home from work i kinda got on it a bit...powershifted 2nd, no problem...hit 3rd...boom, grind grind grind. luckily, i still had 4th gear since its a direct drive, so i managed to make it to the trans shop in 4th. now the hunt begins for something better

if you consider stock exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and a K&N cone filter on the stock intake tube bolt ons, then yes....if not....then its just stock pretty sad actually
and melissa....didnt you only lose 3rd? i lost all my gears except for 4th since its direct drive
edit: a guy on a local mustang forum has a T5 Z-spec like i had in my blue mustang, fresh rebuild 0 miles...$925 firm. i might pick that up unless i can find a deal on a TKO or a Gforce...the T5Z i got for my 87 was also a fresh rebuild, and i got it for $400...wish i could find a deal like that again
