99-04 GTs are SOHC. one cam each head

wikipedia fails again

wow now that i look at that, it really fails. 94-95 GT mustangs had the 302, not a 351, and it says for the 95 Cobra R that its a Windsor family 4.6....uh....NO. THAT has the 351.

and now this post makes no sense cause Knipps deleted his post. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fourth-...n_Ford_Mustang

Engine(s) 3.8L (232 CID) OHV
94-04 Essex V6 4.9L (302 CID) OHV
94-95 GT Windsor V8 5.8L (351 CID) OHV
95 Cobra R Windsor V8 4.6L (281 CID) 2v SOHC
96-04 GT Modular V8 4.6L (281 CID) 4v DOHC
96-98 Cobra Modular V8 4.6L (281 CID) 4v DOHC SC
03-04 Cobra Modular V8
5.4L (330 CID) 4v DOHC
2000 Cobra R Modular V8

i meant modding from factory they both got weak points for F-bodys its the rear, for stangs its the suspention, but the initial cost difference and cheap parts give mustang a nice advantage over f-bodys

305/350 parts are just as cheap, if not cheaper than ford 302 parts. And I would also guess that 3rd gen parts are about as cheap as fox body parts.

I was talking about LS1's. You are not going to build a 4.6L stang cheaper than a LS1 Fbody.

Anyways, i think i'm leaning more towards keeping my car now.. i just realized with a few more mods and a tune i will make decent power without dumping alot of money into it

Well this thread was talking about Fox Bodys, so I just compared them to their F-body counterpart.
