			Congrats.
Since I had a few major surgeries I am not elgiable for the military, but I wanted to be in the marines, I cant so I had to make to choice to go into a automotive trade school. It will always be in my heart to be in the marines but I cant join. Almost every generation of my family has been in either the army, national guard, navy, marnies.

 | NOTHING, didnt mean the post like that at all. im sorry it came out like that. like i said two of my good friends went in and ended up grunts (their words, which is why i used it) after spending all their recruitment being told they would get some other jobs.

they both loved it once they started, one is artillary and the other is infantry

me? i was part of the team that took you jarheads where you were going... but instead of what i wanted, i ended up in personnel. adapt and overcome.

basically in any of the armed forces, they'll put you wherever they want.
As of today, I myself am currently fighting a change to my duties. I am here in a supply unit as a truck driver, trained and all. YET today, I got tasked out to another unit, basically HQ, to be on the PSD(personal security detachment) team for our sgt major and LT colonel. Not a bad job in itself, but its BS. I was one of the best soldiers in our distribution unit and now randomly chosen for this. If i can't get out, im going out on a medical profile(messed up my ankle bad since basic) so they'll have to swap me back out.
