have you guys seen this?
i had to look several times, inspect it, really, to figure out what it was...
it's a toyota crapola! (corolla)
can you believe it? it's no wonder GM is having it's ass handed to them in the sales department with styling like that available in the 15k and under market... now, i'll be the first one to tell you that i hate anything japanese, but this is a corolla. the little, four door, four tire econo-box barely a step up from the turtle (tercel) has certainly come a long way.

Corolla is the best selling car EVER in the history of cars of the world.
Corolla in America is a warmed up puke of what they make elsewhere in the US. Its softer and uglier then the oversees market.
But that doesnt mean that GM doesnt have any good looking cars.

GM is selling lots of cars outside of the US. China for instance. But from what I have seen the better looking GMs are outsdie of N.A.

Was looking around the other day and there are 4 versions of the Pontiac Solstice. Pontiac Solstice , Saturn Sky , Opel GT and the Daewoo G2X.
I kinda like the Opel over the other 3, The Pontiac seems too plain and the Sky has a little too much body trim for me
The Pontiac Vibe was built as a joint effort with Toyota. Its the same car as the Toyota Matrix just with slightly different exterior trim.
Almost forgot, This seems like a good place to throw this in. Pontiac Pickup.

mmmm, pea-soup green. you don't have to puke, they did it for you already.
i never said GM didn't have good looking cars. that crapola took me by surprise, is all.
i never would have guessed it was a crapola. a matrix, yes... which is a shortened
wheel-base crapola, right? i saw a matrix right after they came out here in the US.
i knew the end of the world was upon us...

There are 4 variants of the Kappa platform, but the Opel GT, the Daewoo G2X and the Saturn Sky are the same cars, with different badges. None overlap in any market world wide.
Solstice is unique.

The Vibe/Matrix isn't a bad car. Not something I would buy but they seem to be holding up well. Check this Holden out when you get a chance. I really hope they put this out as a G8 coupe. http://concept.holdencampaign.com.au/

If GM started making their cars out of rice paper they could sell them that cheap too....although rice is getting a little pricey....
