Devils ran that entire game and rangers capitalized on the few devils mistakes. Great series to watch Lundquist saved the rangers the hole series. Whats it the 2nd time in 10 years the rangers made it to the 2nd round? hahahaha O well lets go Pittsburgh!!!

yeah, he got sucker punched for sucker-checking-from-behind in Draper knocking his teeth out, giving him a cooncussion and a bunch of stitches because he is a cheap shot artist.

Devils I wish the rangers had...

Tom Chorske
John Madden
Scott Stevens
Steffan Richie or however you spell it
Brenden Shannahan (got um)
Pat Verbeek (had um)
Peter Sykora (had um, shoulda kept um)

the rest pretty much should stay devils...

they ran the entire game becasue they got momentium off lucky, and i mean LUCKY goals. i also think Gomez and avery saved the series a little more then the king(who outplayed fatso by a long shot). at least the devils will get to enjoy this nice weather more and yes this is the 2nd time in 10 years we've made it to the second round...also the 4th time in 5 years the devils FAIL to make it past the second round

edit: avery was gonig to shake brodeurs hand, watch the postgame interview on the rangers site

ya so what avery isnt the only one doing unsportsmanlike **** but at the end of the game you shake hands.

its not a big deal, i just think it made brodeur look really bad, especally with all those people that look up to him

It was a **** move by Brodeur but it's been done by a lot of players. It's just that Brodeur is Brodeur and it's getting attention.

I don't know if you can call Lundvquist "The King" quite yet...he has only been around for a couple years and really hasn't done anything spectacular...when he wins a Vezina or two, and maybe a Stanley Cup, and maybe about 400 more wins, then you can start talking...one playoff series does not make someone The King...

So true.

...and another thing I didn't really see Avery go to shake Marty's hand.

Guess I hadn't posted here after the series.

Congrats Rangers. Gonna be a Rangers fan now for a week or two, maybe longer.

Oh well, on to get slaughter by the Habs

It's not a matter of dragging them out, they play a best of seven series in each round of the playoffs

Don't tell the Pens fans that, I read on a few blogs that the Wings are old and slow(huh?), the Wings had an easy way to the Finals(WHAT?) and that Osgood is nowhere near as good as Fleury(WTF?).

They're delusional lol
