				Car doesn't want to shift

When i get on the pedal past halfway the car revs all the way to 5grand but doesn't want to shift. Its not really a new problem but its a lot more frequent. I have the Trans Pak Shift kit and 3.73 final gear.
 Any suggestions

How long has the problem been going on?
If you go to WOT, will the trans shift at all, or will it just rev to redline and bounce off the limiter?

			**update**
the car will not shift at wide open throttle from 1st to 2nd.

i have checked the trans fluid it is at the proper level and reddish in color, also upon doing some research this is that i have found

1-2 Shift shudder at WOT; delayed or abnormal 1-2 shift: 1-2 accumulator piston cracked or stuck cocked in the bore. Easy fix in the pan.

pretty much describes my problem, i go WOT the car goes to redline, there is a delay the car jerks then slams into the second after 1 or 2 seconds.

anybody have anything else or want to give me some pointers on how to repair it?

Sounds like what mine did after a sponsor installed my transgo kitI ended up having a broken 1-2 accumulator piston and the spring for it was was broke in half..
The accumulator piston in your car is plastic so that is one down fall..

The Billet Gm 1-2 Accumulator piston used in the Vette is part# 24204496 I think I paid 15 bucks for it at a dealer 3 years ago..
It is an easy fix for someone that knows these transmissions but if you have no experience working on cars this is definitely the wrong place for you to start or learn how to work on a car..
Besides there may be more,Less or other things wrong with your transmission..
You are most likely better off letting someone that knows 4L60E's look at it..

That B&m trans pack is junk I wouldnt doubt that the 1-2 spring that comes in that kit had something to do with your problems.,.

5 quarts of tranny fluidtransmission pan Gasket
You should probably replace the filter/screen since it is apart..
Then it all depends on the damage they find inside of the transmission along with other things that might be spotted and recommended to fix..
If you have certain damage then the tech might recommend flushing everything along with cleaning your Torque Converter and ect..

You would have to wait and see what they find when it is looked at..
