lol I hope not with that. you guys forget im half Afghan, nicknamed by ubg as prince Ali Baba? no all joking aside swing by ill be here tinkering with parts cleaning them up preping them for some fresh paint.
I found the brackets I need to mount my alt with out drilling holes in the old school heads I got.
Will be sending the heads out to a machine shop next week to run through them.
Also will be ordering a major amount of parts needed next week!
Once my stimulus check comes in ill be able to get everything I need and we can call the build back on!!!

Been thinking about that too but if I were to dump close to 2000 on a nice clean thirdgen, Ill have a car with a 305 at best a 350tpi with no less than 90 thousand miles leaky ttops dirty interior and fading paint.
2000 is a nice down payment on a 99 trans am, more reliable looks nicer and all.

Either way my car will be running before I make a decision, who knows I might just keep her around.

Heads are OFF!! I cracked on of my heads, the opposite head that cracked last time. The gaskets the shop used were felpro mls too and it cracked just about all the way through the gasket.

I have a set of steel shim mr gasket head gaskets for .40 over bore which im going to be using when I put this thing back together. Just gota wait for my new parts to be ordered(need to collect some money first) and my double hump heads to have their valve job finished!
