Air cannons?

Anyone on here into building air cannons? I was cleaning my room up and I found all my cannons from a while ago and was just wondering if anyone else shared the hobby?

LOL I used a ton of hi power compactors and the AC converter from a computer, as the power source. I used a lathe in the woodshop to wind 4000 coils. and it ended up putting a 10 penny nail into a cinder block a good 2in. and that was my sophomore year science project LOL

electro-magnetics...you use a coil to produce a magnetic field around a metal object. the field will force it out. depending on the current and voltage you can make a very strong field which can produce an effect much like a riffle.
