Pinks All Out from E-town.......
The Pinks All Out that was taped at Englishtown will air October 2nd.
The eliminations were really good racing, extremely tight finishes.

A duster did win. I wasn't one of the sixteen but I'm hoping they got me in the pits!

Not just a Duster, a real MANUAL trans Duster!!!
Both of the finalists were picking gears the old fashioned way. Impressive isn't even the word for how those guys drove.

All the races were close and is so much better in person, rather than watching it on t.v. There was a nice t/a there but he lost in the semi's if I remember correctly. He was running nitrous and forgot to turn the bottle on. The cars were as awesome as the racing. It will be a good show to watch. Nothing like watching heads up racing at the stripe.

Yeah, the guys with the pewter T/A were from CT. They are cool guys, hung out with them in Memphis last year.

Don't know who he is but everyone has their own opinion. If he didn't like it he must not love racing itself. The number of people didn't make a difference in the racing. I would do it again if I had the chance, I met a lot of cool people and saw a lot of unique cars. There were a couple dozen of us at the stripe on the pit side having a great time.

yeah i dont think so. chris winters works at etown. runs their road course. accomplished road racer, drag racer, and former craftsman truck racer.

Like I said everyone has their own opinion, and for your average racer like alot of us (bracket racers) are it was a fun event. Maybe it was bad for his standards but for the blue collared guys that bust their ass all week so they can go racing on Saturday it was a good time.

There was waaaayyyyyyy more than 2k people there. The bleachers certainly weren't packed like when NHRA comes to town, but they were very full. The reserved seating looked like they sold about 75% of the tickets, and down where we were in the general admission seats were at least half full, if not more.
I don't know Cris Winters, but it sounds like his info is a bit off.

I tried driving the cobalt just before and it was so weird and boring...

I didn't see that Melissa. or your car Matt. I saw a wicked white TBSS yanking the wheels wayyy off the ground real quick. And some verrrrrry close races.

I was on there twice, once in the back ground when the guy was interviewing the chick with the flamed camaro and my car launching about 20 minutes in. I tvo'd it of course! I got my 5 seconds of fame between the two shows!
