All my money is on it being another NASCAR entity, like Toyota or GM. Definitely sounds like competition trying to see what Roush is using.

I think the blocks dont have oil filter bosses or fuel filter bosses or engine mounts. They use a dry sump oiling systems and motor plates.

What is DaSkinnyGuy's alibi?
BS, you could get one into a car with the same relative ease of sliding in any other swap.

Who knows, maybe they converted him from believing that the LS1 was created by the hand of god. He was talking a lot about Mustangs lately.

If you remember, he didn't even buy it! It was a grad gift, and the stipulation was that he would sell his 92 bird!

Steve, does this mean you retract your statement about GM/Toyota stealing it? Hmm the 17th. I believe Matt was "at work" at that time.

I wouldnt want those motors. All i need and its what i have is a motor that will last a long time and get the job done when it needs to be. those motors are designed to run wide open for 500 miles and they usualy crap out during the victory donuts.
Edit: if those motors were good for street use then they would be the crate motor to have. But yes the price is high but still.

If you can help Mooresville Police, call them at 704-664-3311, or South Iredell Crime Stoppers at 704-658-9056. If your information leads to an arrest, you be eligible for a reward.

True. Running one is a bad idea, but that implies that it can be done in the first place. I think Steve is right about installation, but you are at NTI... any ideas on actual installation?
