call it a MAG if you dont feel like saying magazine. saying clip sounds like you are trying to be gangster or some ********.

Clip:

Magazine:

I DARE you to stick a stripper clip into the magazine well on an M16/AR15. see how well it fires.

some rifle do use stripper clips to load...M1 garand is one...the lee-enfield 1901 i believe does too?

I will ask my bro where he gets his. He has a few of them, all set up for paper punching and high power silhouette shooting.

the only good thing about a 16 is it dident jam even after being in the water/mud for hours and it was light to carry around COMPAIRED to the M14 and the ammo is also small so you could take lots with you BUT its not a good hunting piece ( full metal jacket ) blows right through, its for one purpose and its good at that - cant see using it for anything but what was its original intension -- jz

They suck ? Sure, they're not pretty....never stopped me from hitting my targets at 500 yards out with stock open sights....shoot....head shots were the 'norm'
The rattle is taken care of with some elec tape when ya need it to be quiet

And the LOUDNESS is from the shorter barrel....just like an exhaust system

Not necissarily
I built mine for 800 and it's a bushmaster lower with fixed "collapsable" stock with a RRA upper 14.5" barrel 1.5" muzzle break perminately affixed to the end to make it the legal 16" barrel, making for an M4 configuration (AKA M4gery)

Any specific ?s regarding an AR PM me I can help you

found pics:

Eventually I wanna get a red dot sight a front grip and a weaponlight for it

and a BIG +1 for ARFCOM (ar15.com)

On this topic, where do you guys shoot? Private clubs? Your own property? I may take a trip to Cabelas to pick up an SKS or AK but I would like a def place to shoot it if I get one.
