Sigh.... if you have, please tell me about it.

Thanks

Yep... depending on the severity of it, they can either do surgery or just stick to therapy. My doctor recommended therapy, and thats what I stuck with. He also said surgery wouldnt have been an option at the time, but it may be down the road, considering the type of work I do.

But i dunno how you would tear a rotator cuff during the accident... overuse of the muscles in your shoulders is what causes the most common rotator cuff tear.

What I think happened is he had both hands on the wheel as he expected impact, and tensed up. The tensing up and the sudden jerk forward and back may have caused the tear, probably pretty small. But as he continued to use the arm before it got too weak, he may have made it worse.

He's gotta go for an MRI to be sure, but that's what the orthopedist thinks right now.

How does a guy in a wheel chair wreck his pitching arm? lol

My dad tore his. Hurt really bad for a few days, had to put it in a sling and be really careful for about 2 weeks, then the swelling went down and that was pretty much that. He is old and it isn't worth all the surgery and rehab to him since it didn't effect his golf swing. No, I'm not kidding.

Youll get the confidence back... same situation with mine, and hell, even the first 2 weeks going back to work after my arm injury i was very cautious about what i did... eventually it grows into ya and next thing you know it, your back to normal...
