Not to say that isn't impressive but why not do the same to an F-body too?

a twin turbo small cube v8...stock cam, 55mm TB, which makes me think stock intake manifold...

pretty damn quick for a mostly stock motor.

keep in mind....single turbo = more power

edit: and its through an AOD trans...notorious 20%+ power robbers

i was on the site and i saw a few pics of the motor. it looks like its got a trick flowintake manifold. I think its impressive as hell. granted there's Cartek H/C ls1's running low/mid 10's all motor with a stock bottom end which is even more nuts, but its with more cubes and a much newer and fresher motor. to run this time with a 20 year stock shortblock, cam, only 302 cubes AND with an automatic is impressive to say the least.

How much did that twin turbo set up cost? If he would have spent his money right he wouldn't need a twin turbo set up and have to worry about his stock block. He could also be going much faster. Late model Mustangs all have forced induction to make horsepower out of there small c.i. engines. Mustangs survive by there names and what they once were. Don't worry soon all the fox body Mustangs will be getting $#!* on by V6 Camaro's!

That turbo kit is 2700. TF heads 1400. Intake manifold is about 500. Lets add a few hundred to the equation fr whatever. lets say 5500 for a 10.0 motor? Thats pretty cost efficient for me.

Ok, I'm not gonna go back and forth because you can like whatever you want its a free country, but it cost me $4500 for my engine no power adders. I still have some fine tuning to do, as does he and I would be right next to him. I have a 1974 Chevy Nova 2 bolt main just to clarify for the age of the blocks we are using.

I don't have a lot of money, everything I do is on a budget, just because we can build a good engine I'm a liar. Call this # 973-742-4972 if you want to feel like a moron. This is Bill Ceralli a Competition Engine Builder, he did the machine work. He teamed up with Big Cheif to build the fastest single carb door car, 7.48 all motor and that was last year so its probably faster now. But then again I'm a liar. Better yet come to Island tomorrow and see it for yourself.

That's cool, I can handle a lot but it didn't look like you were kidding and I never lie about my car. I hate people that say, I only went this fast cause my tires were spinning, my foot slipped, I forgot to tie my shoe....... Whatever my car does is what I tell people it does.

Thanks, just out of curiosity, what movie is that from?

By the way I was just looking threw my old CC magazines, they built a 9 to1 compression 383 with 412hp/460tq for under $2500 without the distributor, water pump, alternator or starter. That is a budget build, if you ask me.

It was never dyno'd, the guy who did the machine work said around 550 @ the flywheel. I plan on getting it dyno'd before I put it away.
