What did I miss?
I pulled into the staging lanes after the race and he was telling one of his friends he was catching me at the end, if he got a better light he would have beat me. Things like this disturb me, is it that hard to comprehend? He was behind from the start and continued to lose ground the rest of the way. I know I don't have the fastest car, I'm not talking his car down but how in the world can you honestly think an 11 sec car can beat a 10 sec car?
..........I feel better now that I have that off my chest!

Sounds like someone just trying to save face in front of his friends, because they all thought that his 11 second car was the fastest thing around.

10.64, no new best , my alternator crapped out, the MSD needs 14 volts to work at full potential, I was at 12 volts. So, I had a good day all things considered.

So lets see,, 4 behind at the hit, 6 behind at the 1/8 and 7 behind at the 1/4....
Um, yah,,, so if he was catching you,,,,
it was after you crossed the finish line and let off he was still "on the track" so he was pulling on you! From 1321' to the 1400'.
So if that is what he thinks you should have thrown a few bucks down. Specially with that killer light he had. ZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzz.........
