I'm a full-time student at Montclair State University in my junior year going for business management so I can open up my own restaurant some day. I'm also a waiter at Carino's Italian Grill in the Clifton Commons next to the Shannon Rose. So if anyone is in there on a Wednesday or Fri-Sun nite, ask for Jeff, tonight is Wine-Down Wednesday meaning all bottles of wine are half off so if any of you guys want to come in tonight w/ your ladies, I'll be there. Gotta go get ready for work now, ha ha. -Jeff.

  • The Internet Archive contains almost 2 petabytes of data.
  • Google processes about 20 petabytes of data a day.
  • The 4 experiments in the Large Hadron Collider will produce about 15 petabytes of data per year, which will be distributed over the LHC Computing Grid.
  • Facebook has just over 1 petabyte of users' photos stored, translating into roughly 10 billion photos.
  • Isohunt has about 1 petabyte of files contained in torrents indexed globally.
Do you really need all that room?

About 17.5 petabytes of the 20 we have available is full So, yes - we do.

When our next refresh goes though in about a year we will prolly push that up to 30-35 petabytes.

I'm a photographer for Creative Images based out of Maryland. We do mostly pre-school portraits all over the country. I get paid to get up super early, drive around, make kids laugh and take their picture. Its a lot of fun until parents try to help or they toss in some older kids that are too cool to have their picture taken.

The techies are representing hard in this thread. I am a systems analyst for a very large telecommunications company. Basically I write code, setup databases, and argue about how things should be implemented all day.
