polylock q's
What is the tool required to loosen the poly lock so I can get the rocker arms off? Is it an allen key or a hex key? what size?
I removed one before, but for the life of me I cant find what I used to remove it with.. I went through all my bits, all my allen keys.. Guess I borrowed it from some one and gave it back.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_wrench if you scroll down and look on the far right, you will see the difference between most any screw you may come across. that should help.
allen/hex
torx

Just go by a set. I have what sweetbmxrider posted up for both hex and torx wrenches, and they were quite cheap.

I think they are around $15 a set.
WF, make sure you are using the correct Metric or SAE size wrench.

Still need to get them off to adjust when you put the heads back on.

Yeah. they are all the same. The other head is off.
I'm playing with the idea of having new valve springs installed. I will be porting the heads my self as well as the intake manifold. I just started practicing on my old LG4 intake manifold. I need more pieces before I can get to practicing with my heads.
I'm also thinking about having bigger valves installed But I don't know what the benefits would be, Or If i have them matched to my camshaft or anything

Matt - seriously. Stop making more projects for yourself. Keep it up, and the car won't be back on the road until you've been legally drinking for several years. Trust me.
Just fix what needs fixing and put it back together.

+1. Don't give it more reasons to shoot it and be done with.

On the topic of poly locks, when installing them, I just tighten the main nut as if it were a regular one, and when I like it, I tighten the allen nut?
