Formula Exhaust Q's

Alright i posted a while back about needing a cat/catback for a 95 formula m6. Time is running out for me to get this thing to pass inspection. what is the best replacement exhaust including the cat? not looking for anything rediculous. the only cats i can find are upwards of 200 dollars alone

i doubt you will find a full replacement exhaust. napa sells the y-pipe with cat installed. it will pass emissions. its pricey though like 500. you can find loudmouths for under 300 shipped. i would look for a high flow cat and used exhaust though. take it to a shop to weld the cat and fit everything else. theres a couple systems on here i think.

hooker aerochamber is a decent catback for the price. And go onto google and search up a carsound cat. They make magnaflow cats and you can get them cheaper off some suppliers

Because the cat has a flang to connect to the intermidiate pipe your not going to find anything new as cheap as the slip in type. maybe hunt E-bay or someone parting out a car. Borla or Mac use to make a hiflow Y-pipe/cat that bolted to the stock manifolds, might want to check, probably only a few dollars more, but you'll save on having to have the cat welded in.

For the cat back, I agree with deadtrend1 that the hooker catback is probably the best for the price. Slightly deeper then stock at idle and slightly louder under throttle. Only thing I know of at a lower price is a Jeg's own brand cat back, but I don't know of anyone using it so I can't comment or quality ir sound?
