Dome Light in 1997 Camaro

Does the 1997 Camaro have a dome light in the back? I've got a 1997 SS with T-Tops and the only interior lights are the map lights in the rear-view mirror. The back seat is completely dark. I know on a 1998 Camaro that there is one in the back, where the third brake light would be if it wasn't on the spoiler. There is a location where I think one should be on my car like on my friends 1998 but there is no light, just some plastic interior piece.

Was it an option in 1997 or just something dumb GM did by not providing one? Any options to add one?

Thanks for the help.

Art.

Yeah, what Chris says! I don't seem to have a light there, just a solid plastic trim piece. Maybe SLP liked it so much they took it!
