I strongly considered 360 as they have more games that I think I would like..... but I have some great PS2 games that I still want to play.

I figure PS3 will eventually catch up with the variety of games.... but they are slow.

If you have the 'base' model PS3, then yes, PS2 and PS games won't work. If you have the 60 or 80GB system, you'll be fine.

I got him the 80GB version. Sony says it may not be backwards compatible, but who knows, maybe the ones he wants to play are.

Yes, I can cook. I'm no 5 star chef, but most things are edible.

nicely done.

sorry to hear you're having surgery over the holidays. i wouldn't do it again. i had my major back surgery on the 9th of december and i was so miserable with pain that i was unable to enjoy the holiday. how long is the recup period?

good luck, and i hope the surgery fixes what they say it will.

The way I look at it if you wanna play online, PS3 is free to play against other people. But yet I bought a 360 not knowing I have to pay 7.99 a month to play against other people....garbage. That's the only complaint. Oh, and they don't make HD DVDs anymore either.

Shop around you can get it for a lot less than $7.99 a month.

Good luck on the surgery, and Blu ray DVDs look soooo good on a 1080 TV

Or you could pay ~$4 a month. $50 for the year.
I'm still going off "1 free month" gold cards I have lying around.. but then again I don't play online much

LOL'z

I can think of something else I'd rather have than a game system when my neck is hurting.....would only require the eyeballs to roll into the back of my head....

But hey....she's thinking of you at least....that's more than many guys can say (and to think she even planned it before the hurt time AND did research ) Keeper material there.....
