I would think since the early ones were T5's it shouldn't be a problem. It will definately physically bolt to the motor though.

If you're talking about swapping a Vette 350 into your F-body, then yes, you can bolt the flywheel/clutch/bellhousing from your T5 up to the back of the Vette motor and install.

If you wanna put a T5 in a Vette, well, that's a different animal all together.

Don't get hung up on searching for a 350 TPI vette motor. Chances are you won't find a low mileage one for a decent price (it's been more than 15 years since they were new).

If you took the 1 off the front of that number it'd be a good deal. I bought a 2-bolt main, iron head L98 from an '88 GTA from SmokingSS for $150 a few years back. Even if it's a legit Vette L98 with the aluminum heads and 4-bolt main block, it's ~maybe~ worth $600-700. As Justin said, it's an old motor. Hell, $1500 would almost get you a used LS1 with a harness.

My advice - keep shopping, or get the guy selling the L98 to cut his price by 60%.

You should stick an LT1 in it.

Well, that's not a bad deal then; they're including the trans, all the accessories, etc. for that price. If you already have a TPI setup, you really don't need anything besides the engine. Maybe they would sell just the motor?

fparts is Contemporary Corvette, they probably wont sell you it any other way except the way it is listed. With the trans, but no harness, it isnt worth $1,600

I have to agree 1600 is too much. I bought a complete 350 tpi from a gta with harness and accs. that had 60k on the motor for $500 a while back. Keep searching. Check out the thirdgen.org boards. There is always someone selling one.
