Free 700R4 Core...

700R4 pulled from my 84 T/A. 225k on it. It's shot, but would make a good core if someone needs one. You can have the old torque converter too

A more detailed description... The front pump is bad. The trans takes a very long time to build pressure to shift. It slips going from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3. It wouldnt even find 4th last time I drove it. I would not recommend using it as is. It will atleast need to be rebuilt. Thats why I am offering it for free, and as a core.

I drove the car for about 3 years with the trans slipping. It finally got bad enough that it was time to change it.

It is currently sitting outside next to my friends garage. Most of the fluid has been drained for the last two weeks.

Free, pick up only, North Plainfield. Shoot me a PM or reply here if interested.

This would make an excellent boat anchor, paintball target, or yard ornament for someone looking to spruce up the yard infront of their trailer... All you have to do is come and take it!

Heck you could even spray paint it pink and give it to the little lady for Valentines day! Nothing says lovin' like a junk transmission...

Sorry, I'd really prefer pick up only.

Thanks for the interest though.
