My bad luck seems to stem from spring break, but not the beginning, the day or two before I go back to school.

body shop estimate came out to like $7-9k to fix. i drove it like that for about 2 weeks planning on repairing it myself. in that time the power steering would just randomly stop working, the transmission started taking a few tries to get into 4th, the ABS just completely failed, the radiator sprung a leak, and then the U joint or driveshaft was making some terrible noises towards the end.

wanted to keep it but it was just a lot of work and i knew i'd never get the money back and i needed a car. after 6 weeks of fighting with insurance to get my money back i ended up buying it from them for like $200 and selling it to one of my dad's friends. it's back on the road but it's been in 2 or 3 more accidents since then. nowhere near the condition it was in when i bought it =(

headlight actually wasn't damaged. took out the blinker though. i had no tail light and no blinker and no one bothered me. haven't had front blinkers on this car either for the past 6 months and never been pulled over haha. just ordered everything i need to fix it tonight so i'll be legal soon.
