The track was perfectly fine. Goodyear, once again, brought a crap tire.....guys have been complaining about right rears all week, and it all came to a head yesterday when Newman popped one and took out himself and Tony Stewart, forcing them both into backup cars for today.

Vickers caused that accident. That block was wwwaaayayyyyyyy late and completely uncalled for.

By the wording of the rule Jr. is indeed at fault for not "blending" back in safely, but Vickers really started the problem.

I still question this idea of "out of bounds", if you don't want them to drive there DON'T PAVE IT!!!!

vickers blocked the "yellow lines" and instead of backing off and coming back up legally, he turned right and took vickers and half the field out

Yes, NASCAR uses the "one move" rule.

I doubt it was intentional, but that is of course what a lot of people are going to say. Really, drivers don't spend a lot of time in the car worrying about pay back or anything else.

It is compounded by the fact that it is really really hard to see out of these cars. There are tubes and pads going in every direction and the seats are set vry very low.

Did Jr. cause the contact, yes. Was it his intention, I strongly doubt it.

I place more of the blame on the late block that created the situation. Legal or not, throwing a late block is just asking for trouble.
