I had a friend that every year he would get the "tailgate terror". Basically a large cheap car that we would "modify" for tailgates or shore trips. We had a 70 somthing station wagon that we bought for $300 that we made into a convertable via a sawsall. A real blast when it rained.
Loved those cars. Nothing better then some beat to hell car with girls dancing in high heels on the hood.

I valet parked at some ritsi places so I drove alot of high end sheeeet. As for cars ive owned probably my 97 bolt on/stall LT1...Id imagine when spring gets here and I get this LS1 finished that will probably replace that. It already outpowers it but not in the looks dept...yet.

Favorite car I ever owned was my plum crazy 1970 Challenger 440 Sixpack. Was seriously worked. Over 700HP, big wheel stander and fun to drive when it stayed in the groove or wasn't breaking parts!
Next was my 84 Z28. Back in 94 I was going to have it back halfed over the winter, them things changed in my life and I sold it.

 Cars that I didn't own:

Back in the mid 80s I had a chance to drive an alcy Funny car. I did the brunout, that thing was so freaken violent I say no way and shut it down. I give allot of credit to the people that have body parts that large that they can drive those things down the track! I'd like to try a dragster, where I'm not sitting on a bomb!

I drove a 308 GTB Ferrari once. Wasn't a drive where I did anything special in it, no hard cornering or high spped, but still just cool to drive the thing around. it is a 100% attention getter! I won't mind owning on of those!

Most fun car I ever drove was a Dodge Sprint Car at Lime Rock. It was a rear mounted 2.0lt Dodge engine, with a straight 4-speed gear box. I tore Lime Rock up in that thing for a full day, what a blast.
The fastest car I think I was ever in was a buddies sprayed to holy hell 89 Mustang GT. I've never felt anything like that before in my life hitting the bottle on the highway and just that feeling of instantaneous power was overwhelming.

And hands down the best vehicle I have ever owned is my R6s, I put 5,000 miles on it in a matter of 4 months I couldn't get off the bike. Every day in the summer after work I was out with my friends tearing up North Jersey and parts of New York State. I came home every time with a grin from ear to ear.

My Z28 I can only tolerate in small dosages. A lot of fun times in it without a doubt but the instant I get stuck in stop & go traffic the fun is killed.

Two favorites that come to mind are: 1) 1960 MGA that was the AAA "service car" for the gas station I worked at in college. We fought over the chance to do service aclls in the car because it handled so well and had that Brit sports car exhaust note. 2) My 1998 Neon ACR. With no mods other than a rollbar, "R" Tires it could corner and brake with most stock 911s at WGI (2:29 best lap). Wasn't fast in a straight line, but it could go stupid deep and still stop and four wheel drift even though it was FWD.

The most fun car I have ever drove was a VW beetle kit car. It was a slow ass ride but it handled pretty sweet. my best memory with it was in the passenger seat when the door swung open and I almost fell out of the car because of the lack of seat belts. I have offered to trade my bird for it numerous times...
My bike is high up there.

My saturn has a lot of great memory's in it. My first trip to the track. Teaching my self to drive stick, teaching others to drive stick.

My bird sucks I cant wait to replace it and my saturn with a G8, TBSS or a camaro in a year or so.

2008 Z06 Vette was the most fun car i ever driven. Truly amazing!! After that out of the 12 F-Bodies I have owned it had to be my old 00 SS. First car i ever had cammed with all the bolt ons. The car was a beast. My current 00 Formula is cammed but the cam is small i never get on it or have taken it to the track.

Working with my dad at the shop since I was very young, I have been in many cars.I will agree with the topic originators that the Triumph TR6 is defiantly a blast to drive. I hope to have one someday. Any of the old brits (XKE's, MB SL's, ect ) are fun to drive.

 Other fun cars
1999 ZX9 - first bike. still provide excitement after 30k miles.
any of my 70's T/A's. With each project being faster and better handling than the last, I can't wait to drive the latest.

Some cars that I rode in when I was young and still remember the rides are:
 1970 Lambo Espada
 Mini cooper (original, not BMW)
 1988 930 Porsche w/ wide body
1978 T/A. This car got me stared on the T/A's. I was maybe 10 at the time and my father picked me up from day camp. I remember fishtailing, acceleration, ect. They did some service work on it and gave it a tune. It was supposedly some drug runners car. they found that out after it left.
1969 datsun 610 jumping snow banks and old train beds.

 Scariest Car I drove
1952 Jaguar. the handling was atrocious. awful.

 Best cruising car(s)
 1980 Pace car T/A
1959 Caddy Eldorado Conv. aka my Sr. prom ride. I think I liked the car better than her. What a classic ride.

id say my trans am has been my most fun ride. 2 this day the straight line acceleration still scares the crap out of people, and shall continue to do so. i also liked my turd gen, my 93 dodge caravan and my 99 ninja. no particular order
