Really? In NJ? That is the EXACT color set up I want.
Thing is that they arent Black, they are cyber-gray. Really dark, but not black.

Who is bringing some CTF cars to NJ??

  | They actually say because of the weight they'll probably be the same speed as the LS1's...Not sure what models etc, havent really paid any attention to the 5th gen forums. Ill all speculation bs until I actually start seeing the things at the track, and how they react to mods.

They arent. You either saw a Challenger, or a Camaro Captured Test Fleet or CTF car. they are proproduction cars that are being driven all over the place. If this was in fact a CTF car, good eye, but 99% chance that what you saw was a Challenger. They both share a very similar body shape along with similar design elements such as large open grill with headlights mounted towards the edge, large wheels, low slung and short windows, etc etc. Production starts monday.

The SS will outrun an LS1 car. The weight isnt THAT much difference. You guys are acting like a stock LS1 car comes in at 3200lbs. An SS car loaded similar to an 1SS is probably only 150-200lbs heavier. If you think about it, all the added weight of the larger wheels, brakes, air bags, etc etc etc, it would be equal. But whatever.
The 5th gen SS is putting down mid 4's 0-60, where the LS1 cars put down low 5's, high 4's at best.
The 5th gen will be a solid 12 sec car.

[QUOTE=BigAls87Z28;558413]They arent.

Nope, saw a camaro, not a challenger. I know what they both look like, and i've been looking at the camaro since 06, def. camaro
