best way to fix a crushed rocker panel?

so when i first got the car and was learning how to drive stick, i took the car out for the first time in the rain and wasn't really sure what to expect. this was about 2 -3 years ago. well on the day i was going around a turn and downshifted instead of upshifted and the rear swung out and i was pretty much going completely sideways down rt 130 near marketplace and i slid up on the side of the road, where it was like an embankment that i got seesawed on and i ended up crushing in the drivers side rocker panel, is there a skin that i can get that goes over this, or what is the best way to go about getting this fixed, i am trying to get the body into good shape so i can eventually get it painted

its not really a skin, its gonna need to get pulled and some body work obviously. if your planning on paint i would leave it and let the shop take care of it when your ready


oooor, leave it and put a body kit (wings west, oem rs) over it

yeah i was thinking of going the rs route because in the long run it would probly cost about the same

just make sure that the kit covers it and mounts... there still could be damage showing even with a body kit... and youll have a hell of a time pulling a dent out of a rocker in the garage... best way to do it is weld on some pulling plates.... and hook them up to floor pots (chains cemented to the floor) and jack up on the car to pull it out... the metal is very tight down there... a regular stud gun wont work so well for this.... if your not really sure what you are doing i would leave it to the profesionals... just my 2 cents... good luck either way....
