				The LT1 is back

Got the camaro back tonight, It runs like a champ 2nd gear hits real hard and the over all feel has never been better. I really feel the difference with the 2200 stall converter. I guess it was worth it. Next I'll have the gears done 3.73:1 then do the optispark and I'm done. Well maybe, I'm sure there are some more goodies I might wanna add |

Glad to hear it's running nice. Did they do a shift kit also?. You got a upgraded tranny cooler right?

Awesome, I think you will be really pleased with the bump in performance once you get those 3.73's in there. Good luck,

Thanks I'm looking forward to getting the rear done. I'm just going to rebuild the 10 bolt and add the gear set I rather spend $800.00 rebuild and installed then $2700.00 for a 12 bolt. yes if I has the spare cash to burn why not, but that's not the case. These 10 bolts get a bad rap of course they are a lot weaker then a 9 inch or a 12 bolt. But I have beat on these things and had them last 98,000 miles as the case with my 1984 Z/28 5.0 HO. So at this age I don't expect to be beating up on my car as in the past.

May not be 3.73s but I have a 10 bolt here with 3.42s from a 95 with 4 channel ABS. If you are interested I will give you a good deal on it..

I have 3.23s and unless your car sees some track time, idk how willing I would be go to a whole lot lower. I tach like 2300 rpm on the highway, still get great mileage, and plenty of pickup and power. You'll probably love 3.42s, 3.73s might be too low for an A4 that sees cruising/maybe some highway.

I had 3.73:1 in my 84 Z it tached about 2500 rpm at 60 mph if i remember correctly. So that aint all that bad, I'm not sure if the trans gear ratios were the same as the 4l60e. I had the 700r4 of course.
