				Alignment costs?

Well im putting the drop on the Z next weekend (shocks & lowering springs) and im looking for a place that isnt going to charge me an arm and a leg for a basic alignment. Rather a good mom and pop shop as opposed to a chain. Doing the install in Lakehurst so somewhere fairly local to that would be cool. Thx in advance

Tire Systems ,1492 Ocean Ave/Rt 88 Lakewood (732) 370-5568 $59 and do good work. It should only be like 15 minutes from where you are getting the work done.

Most "mom and pop" shops won't touch a lowered car for an alignment.
 I know I won't at work.

 I suggest TTP.

Eh, TTP is gonna charge you up the ass. I spoke with them about aligning the iroc after I rebuilt the suspension and put in the pro-kit and Matt was telling me something like $400 because they have to mess with it and figure it all out etc. I was told to check out Euro-Tire on Rt. 46E in Fairfield and they did an awesome job. They did some little odds and ends in addition to the alignment and it cost me about $100. They have a lot of race cars there, mostly road course cars. I also see a lot of porsches, a Grand National, Corvettes etc. Might be a hike for you though but there are options out there besides chain stores.

Sears in Freehold, ask for Pete Fekety. Owns a 2002 Trans Am, has done the alignment 100 times. He did my 72 and did anyone else's alignment I ever brought in.

In HS I had to explain what a torque converter was and why I had one in my LT1 to one of the "mechanics " at the seaview square one in Ocean rofl. Got a few good prices between 60-70 bucks.

Pete is a very good friend of mine, and has been with Sears for a long time. He has been doing alignments for over 15 years.
