what intake for my LQ9?
well i am going to be getting rid of the truck intake off the lq9 i ordered.
i know it comes stock with a 78mm like the ls1/6. should i get an ls6 intake and ported tb or go with something bigger like a fast 90?

in all honesty I would ask this question on Ls1tech. I don't know of many/or any1 on this site that is running a 6.0 block in their cars.(I take that back, there's like 2 or 3)

what ls2 lol thats long gone. along with the 243s and asa cam lol.(sold to pay motor bill) now im starting fresh with this motor. im not cheaping out on parts.

i would be more worried about changing the trucks moving parts than the intake...

I would go with L92 heads (flows excellent as casted), Get the l76 intake, and get EDC to custom grind a cam for you. You'll be looking at 450-500 wheel hp

not really looking to have alot of power lol. (yes you read correctly) just going to be putting the stock lq9 in the car along with my just purchased fast 90 manifold. long tube headers. and a couple other little mods. just basically a nice little street car. (no drag racing for me)

I would just get another LS2...send it out for porting first though  . fast is a ripoff, i dont care how good they are.

When you gain 5 HP from an LS6 to a ported fast, then yes...
