G8 Dynotune - LT's/Vararam - Pics/vid

Got the ARH longtube headers on with catted x-pipe hooked to the stock mufflers. Before the dyno, I had a few codes pop up and one in particular required the replacement of the driver's side O2 sensor. TTP ordered a new AC Delco unit and it was there in less than a hour. The car sounds perfect with the stock mufflers. Subdued rumble at idle, quiet cruise, and roars when you romp on the gas. I love it.

I also happened to run into Justin from GM High Tech. Performance. Real nice guy and apparently my TA was in the street heat section from last year. I need to pick up a back issue to see. They had a firehawk in for some suspension mods.

The mods are as follows:
Vararam Intake
ARH 1-3/4" LT headers w/catted x-pipe
Stock mufflers
Dyno Tune

New Numbers
348rwhp / 363rwtq SAE

Bone Stock Numbers
297.76rwhp / 319.41

Can't believe that with just these relatively basic mods the car picked up over 50+rwhp and 40+rwtq

Dyno graph shows increase from the last tune with just the VR intake/stock exhaust.

Nice numbers, Brian. So, are you going to throw the pypes back on just for the hell of it? When are you heading back to the track? I'd like to see those numbers.

Yea I put the stock axle-back on the car since the Pypes will make the car really loud. It would prob sound pretty good but I just don't want that kind of noise with this car. I may throw them on before going to the track since they take maybe 15 min to change out.

I may throw them on for track days since I will be able to deal with the extra rumble plus they weigh so much less than the stockers. I'm looking to get back to the track shortly before it gets too hot. I have to run the G8 and now the TA . I'll let you know when I plan on going.
