WIndows 7 RC

Well I just recently built a new computer and jumped from xp to the Windows 7 RC as I've heard nothing but good things about it plus it is free.
But I have recently hit a snag every now and then while playing games or watching video my screens flashed black for a moment and goes back to normal and a pop up says (you video driver has stopped responding but has successfully restarted)
I've tried everything from uninstalling it and cleaning with driver cleaner and reinstalling all the way back to the first driver that was for my card, I have tried on the 64 bit and 32 bit versions.
It happens in and out of sli multi or single monitors old games(starcrat) new games (WaW).
All 4 sticks of ram have passed memtest everything is running at stock speeds(no overclocking yet)
From what I've found in google this is primarily a VISTA problem that has been around since release and no fix yet.
So I was wondering if any one who is using the RC or vista has encountered this problem and would know a work around.
I was using a 8800 GTX in a S939 XP rig before my mobo died on me and never had a problem such as this.
I've been building and playing with pc's since the socket A days and can normally trouble shoot crap like this on my own but I'm jsut aobut to sell it off and build a xp rig...

Computer specs...
Evga 9800GX2 Quad SLI
Evga 780sli
4x2gb OCA reaper HPC pc2 8500
Intel core2quad 9550
PcP&C Silencer 750w PSU(tried 3 other psu's thinking that may be it from 500w up to 1200w)
2x dual layer dvd burners
packed inside a Lian Li v2000+ case
2x raptorX 150gb drives in raid
500gb maxtor sata drive

Unfortunately I tried vista for a month or so when it first came out and never went back to it.
If I can't get this figured out soon I'm just going to ebay this rig and go back to xp.

no one knows about 7, there's not a simple fix that would be widely known.
