Miracle noone got hurt with those people standing so close. I have seen tires shred quarter panels but DAMN!!!! That just totaled that car. Never saw that. As they say anything can happen.

By my uneducated guess **** under pressure, when heated up, tends to go boom... at least it was only a turd gen.

clearly there was more going on there. be it a **** tire or excessive psi, there is no reason for a normal decent tire to explode with a 20 second burn out. pretty wild though

Did any of you every see a Goodyear Racing Tire blow on a NASCAR track. It kinda takes off the whole fender and part of the hood. Something that has been spinning that fast with so much heat buildup, it only takes a small weak spot in the tire and off it goes.

I believe it. It's pretty violent when it comes apart at such speed. A lot of stupid in the vid. Those people were sitting way too close. Idiots. They do it way safer at Carlisle.

Best 7 second burnout.. Im assuming it reached its speed rating of the tire or was due to the psi of the tire
