at least it will still be around. it doesnt automatically mean hummers will be made in china. when benz bought chrysler, they were still made here, but owned by benz.

you but when benz took them over they tried to clean up some of chryslers short comings... they had alot of influence on the way chrysler products were built and engineered and still do with some of the newer cars coming out... so there is a good chance that the chinese will have some influence on hummer brand....

I hope they turn them into a true Land Rover fighter. Ron Zarrella should be shot for the way he destroyed that brand.

i dont think the chinese are capable to build a land rover righter... not becuase of money restraints... just because of what they've made in the past automotive .... junk original hummers were cool but im not gonna loose sleep over it... these company's put themselves in the crappers so now they have to deal with the repercussions... thats why free market works so well and is what we are based on... it leaves the fate in most cases up to the consumer if they don't like it they don't buy it... weeds out the crap...

Chinese are learning faster then the Japanese or Koreans have. And they have a much larger work and cheaper workforce, so think about high technology, high quailty, but priced much lower then anyone can provide.

The Chinese have FULL support of the goverment, and they will get any and all funds to make sure that thier industry becomes the best. They have pride in thier country, unlike us.

I love how America cries about where our money goes, but bet your bottom dollar, if China brought Hummers over here witha sticker price at 20K, people would be buying them faster then you could ever imagine. America loves to spend their money on big crap, and when that crap is cheaper then anyone else can make, America jumps on it. I hate to say it, but China is becoming superior over America, quality is the only issue they need to work on, but theya re also the only country who's economy is still advancing. America is **** tanking, Japan has been in a stalemate for about a decade now, and everywhere else never attempts to make giant leaps to come out of this recession blanket.

Peopel are arrogantthese days ,and need to realize China is a force to reckon with, so instead of lying to ourselves saying were #1, we need to say we are no longer, now how are we going to fix this.
