quick power steering ???

what fluid are you guys running... haynes manual says gm approved PS fluid... im not goin to the dealer for fluid... i always though GM ran atf in their systems... will i be ok running Atf in the PS system.... my system is completely empty right now...

Newer GM P/S is like atf but the older stuff is like a 10 weight oil. Id say just get regular P/S fluid and not use atf.

I had problems with the PS pump making noise. I switched to Redline PS fluid years ago and have no issues.
