				Headunit Question

how's it going guys. i just ordered my wiring to put in my 10" jl w2 and kenwood amp back in my new camaro. So while i am running the wiring i was wondering
is there anyway to run a auxillary cable from a stock headunit for an ipod or mp3 player.

There used to be a twelve disc cd player in the car is it possbile to use an exsisting wire from that pigtail that i can use with the headunit and just splice into it

get a tape deck and use the tape attachment or your gonna have to use a radio frequency tuner for your ipod....i dont think the 12 cd changer reads information like that

im not sure how the headunits in the newer camaros work, but if it has aux outputs i believe best buy sells wires that can connect into aux outputs and go into a headphone jack, which you could use on ipods, cd players, mp3 players etc.
but the stereo has to have an auxillary option.

Yea use the cassete player. Best way not to mention it will probably bet better quality then trying to splice you way to get it to work.

if i had an ipod/mp3 player i'd almost consider swapping my 00' headunit for a cassette one just so i could use an adapter
