When I get home, im gonna have to se the commercial, shame the pics are ******. I still say it's a Lotus cause I'm seeing alot of lotus que's on that car, including the rear pillar angles and shape.

I thought the same back on page 2. But look at the body color vs. blacked out (blacdout? lol) tail panel and the reverse lights in the tail light assemblies. Doesn't match.

Close, but not exact.

I'm gonna say that the kit car answer is most likely correct. It could easily have been a kit car that they just paid some random guy a few thousand bucks to use for an evening of shooting. Doesn't mean that they had to build it from the ground up themselves.
