30 years ago the same scientists that are crying global warming were screaming global cooling. It's a ****ing sham. I don't doubt we aren't helping things but it's not the crisis Al Gore and his idiot sheep followers trying cramming down ou throats. We're not going to melt if we don't "act now". It's a shame that an important issue is corrupted by power, $$$ and control..but that's the human way/nature. It's a shame that an important issue like this is clouded by agendas.
More and more of these scientists are growing a set of balls and speaking out.

global warming is all BS, the emails were leaked by scientist admitting skewed experiments and faulty numbers..but the media didnt broadcast it. the media controls everything and what people see on the news is what they believe.

BS?....no way-
That Al Gore thing he did said alot more then just numbers and we dont need the media to show or prove anything. the people who claim this....who does not claim this, there is not one scientist to step up and call it BS, the presdent the oil companies and media- does...Its all the people who dont know who says we are not who dont know.
i will find the media link of the RoadIsland size chunk that fell off of antartical due to a
3* temp increase. crazy cause the next one to break is big enought to put most of NY under water.
i am not sayimg that we will see it or that the end of days are here, i am just saying that the earth does have a cycle like the seasons and we -people-do inpact that cycle.
lets think of it as a car !
1 lil peice of dirt, 1 wire...can stop a 1000 HP car and most times its the lil things that do, not the big things.
earth and all life- the system of seasons and so on and so on are all tied together like the parts of a car- one breaks, fails or CHANGES...and the whole system can and will change.
thinking its BS cause there all just lil things changing well, is just a way to go on everyday in the safe place of advoidance.
NJ just got 70.5" of snow....MOST EVER!
That not a cycle that is an increase...
I really dont know, and just think its crazy myself, but i atleast can say its not BS, it is happening. Ice Age? Globel warming? I dont know which one if either...changing tho, 100%.
Just sad....who will actual be able to tell us if its BS or not...probly our Kid's Kids...
Maybe Hawks will sell a Track Conversion for the 3rd GENS LMAO

I agree with Blacktop, however the mass media fear frenzy is the wrong way to go about things IMO. Governments should not need an excuse like this to clean up industries and car emission standards, whether or not they contribute to global climate change is trivial, they should do it due to the fact that they are poisoning the host that we as leaches survive off of. It is entirely human of us to think that we have some effect on the world and that we can "change" the world for the better.

Agreed, but the real question at hand should be "how are we going to deal with/survive through the change," not "omg we suck stop driving anything maybe itll reverse itself." We know the earth cycles hot/cold, there's no need to point fingers and crap about it

Well that statement is based off of the Al Gore-Statement, cause I dont actually know any of those people but it does raise a good thought....
Has there been 1 scientist to state that it is BS?
From the collection of the 250 top scientist in the feild- all 250 said it was really happening. Not one disagreed?
So who says its BS then?
Everone else
LOl

More and more are coming out and saying a lot of this is BS. No one is going to argue that things ARE changing, the argument is WHAT is changing and WHY. The argument is whether it's all man made like ******* Gore claims or if it's cycles. We aren't helping but it's also VERY arrogant to think that we're all to blame and that we're all the solution. This "crisis" is nothing more than scare tactics to further power, control and $$$.
These same scientists were also screaming about global cooling in the 70's and that all of our crops would have died by now and there would be bedlam.
It's all a game, I'm far from an expert nor do I claim to be...but I try to do as much reading from both sides of the argument and formulate my opinion from that. The craze is over, the fear has died down and now people are starting to wake up a bit and look at people like Gore and start to realize their motives aren't exactly honorable.
We, as inhabitants of the Earth, should do what we can on a personal level to keep this place clean, for ourselves and our kids. However should we destroy our economy and give power to a select few for it? Abso-freakin-lutely not.

I can agree with that point...
The what and why is not a single answer and I dont think anyone at this point can really say its A+B=C...
not when there is an A to Z range of things that take effect, but to take US...people and our doings out of the A to Z.???That is crazy and i would have to say that atleast US = A and our impacts are B to S, S to Z would be the effects of cycles and so on...
people are doing and have done some major-careless tasks that would have to impact the cycle of our world.
Economy! is man made and yes we are all traped in it and have to- make a living and go forward in our lives, but in the end....how far dose it go...
Like the oil deal, funny to think that we are running out and the USA drains more then the rest of the world combined. yet we wont drill our lands for it?
why is that? well its economical to be the last with something the whole world want...$$$$ do you think US...people of the USA will get a price discount, lol.
what i am trying to add- is that the changes are increased by man and our habbits- but to shrug it off cause of the economy....
we are so heading to MAD MAX and ThunderDome!!!
lol, sucks to cause i love that movie.LOL

I think there are people with alterior motives pushing the issue on both sides. However, the polar ice caps are melting, this will result in the ocean's water level rising, this in theory will result in more dense cloud formations, more snow, more rain, and an overall cooling off of the earth. End of the world? No. Human perception of the end of the world resulting in panic and hysteria? Yes. The "world" isn't going anywhere, but the human interpretation along with propaganda could result in mass hysteria. The ice caps is a big problem though. Not just the water level rising and as they're saying will put coastal cities like New York and Miami under water, but the fact that the caps protect use from the suns rays. Without them, scientists are saying skin cancer and other related illnesses will go up like a million percent.

It's weather patterns that change and most of it is related to sunspot activity. The global warming thing is overhyped with very little substantial evidence. Obviously we are having some impact on the planet, but not to the degree they are claiming. The sunspot cycle is what will be changing us to cooler weather and pattern change. But regardless, there is not enough good historical weather data yet to prove anything.

The way I understand it, warmer weather in canada proves global warming. But the massive amounts of snow on the east coast don't disprove global warming. Makes sense

Yeah, that is pretty ugly.
I think we are helping things along faster.
I think companies can work harder to make things more efficent and cleaner. If not to stop the polar bears from flipping ****, but to improve health conditions.
If we can make things cleaner, give people jobs, not to mention just give us a technological edge. Its just good stuff.

im not even going to touch this... fact is that to reduce our carbon output enough to make any kind of a difference would make the world unlivable for most people leading normal lives... i mean yea its good to stop pollution, i don't think anybody is going to argue that, I just think its a terrible time to be strengthening all these laws right now when its going to make it harder for people to do things and cost more money for people. I mean all these tax credits that they are giving people to do "green" things to their homes... really the last thing we need to be doing is spending tax dollars on this crap. And to speak from experience by 2012 its mandatory in NJ for all bodyshops to use waterborn paint which costs roughly 30% more than their solvent based counterparts. not to mention you need a plethora of new equipment just to use the stuff which all costs money. Shops don't have a say to do this or not. So now the shop has all these costs you think they are going to be able to hire new people?? and that's just one for instance. I'm sure there is hundreds more, but hey you know what go for it china pollute all you want!

Carbon Dioxide is not a pollutant. None of this is about pollution.
