March Car of the Month Submissions

Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.

Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS IN!!!

01 Camaro SLP SS 6.0L Lq4 M6. I recently purchased the car off of ebay, Ive wanted an LS1 4th gen for years and Im proud to finally own one of my dream cars, it will never be for sale. I grenaded the stock rear axle and I installed (with help from 98tadriver) a Moser 12 bolt. The car made 407rwhp and 380rwtq. Hope to see low 12's at Atco in the spring.

I bought this car in November of 2009 from deadtrend1. Never thought of owning a LT1 but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. The car has a LT4 hot cam, BMR SFC's, a hooker cat back, an ls1 brake swap, as well as many other mod's.

Kyle Mitchell: 1994 Camaro Z28. This car is my pride and joy. It is my first car and the car I learned to drive on. Ive owned it for about 5 years now. It has basic mods, Magnaflow exhaust, TTII's, Slp fan control switch, and some other little mods, but Pacesetter long tubes and K&N cold air intake are waiting to be installed. This car recently won a trophy at a local car show for "Best Original Paint" in September.

Name: Bryan Ames
Car: 1998 Trans Am

I bought the car almost a year ago up in north jersey. When I bought the car it had kooks longtube header, highflow cats, and a magnaflow catback. It also had a 3600 Vig, tune and a moser rear with 373s. Since I have owned the car i added the a Stock ws6 ram air hood and a set of MT Drag Radials. I also recently put C6 Z06 wheels to cruise around on. The best I have done at atco is a 12.37 @ 110.

89 Trans Am GTA, car was purchased in March of '08. White w/tan leather interior, ATI Procharger P1-SC supercharger, SVO 24# injectors, Edlebrock shorty headers and catback exhaust and some suspension upgrades. Definitely a fun car to drive.

EDIT: Unfortunately I don't have any new pics as my hard drive crashed, but this will do (thanks Kat!)

My 1987 IROC-Z Camaro. Ive owned it for 10 years (since I was 15). Was a 305 tpi car, but now runs a GMPP 350 long block with the TPI setup. Shifted through a B&M megashifter on a builtup 700R4 trans with a 2800 converter. 10 bolt rear end with 3.73 gears. Dyno Don's custom headers and a Hooker Cat back exhaust. 2" drop spindles up front with C4HD 13" big brake setup. Big stereo system. Fresh red paintjob with shaved moldings and antennae. Custom vinyl stripes (not in photo though) on hood and doors. Billet 16X8" wheels and BFG rubber. New S&W racing subframe kit with adj. torque arm and driveshaft loop. Recently sanded the floors down to bare metal (inside and out) and coated with POR-15. Chrome dress up parts and removed HVAC. Some other stuff too. Dave Martin

Rocky Villari

My 1995 V6 Firebird. I got the car when i was 15 with 78k miles on it. I put just a little over 6k miles on it since july. DaSkinnyGuy got me into the F-Bodys and i ended up with this. I love the car my parents got it for me to get used to driving before i get something with a little more power. Only a few mods done to it and even thought it's a V6 it's still alot of fun to drive.
