Bought a TURD!

Well with the nice weather coming, I finally gave in and bought a third gen yesterday. The price was right and it's pretty darn majestic. Better pics will be up soon.

87 GTA
130k on body...3k on the 350 and th400
Interior needs a cleaning.
Bodys not perfect...its a good 10 footer (worst is on the stupid rubber spoiler)
Needs: headlight motor, finish painted firewall, exhaust...nothing major at all, even had a chance to take it around the block when I brought it home

atleast the posi works...

Nice....I had my eye on that car too, just didn't have the funds in place. Looks like a nice car - hope you enjoy it.

Try opening that little part of the motor that the metal contacts in it and just try cleaning them off. I remember when the headlights on my 86 stopped going up pulled those contacts out and cleaned them and they worked until i got rid of the car.

Nice choice. Is that the one that was for sale in Berkley Heights or somewhere near there? Third gens are easy to work on, even for non-mechanics. Have fun with it!
