Lojack question..
Any one familiar with what they look like under the dash?
I have lojack and some other car alarm wired into my car and the wiring makes mine look good...
However, I don't wanna be cutting out stuff that may make teh car inop. so just looking for some tips.

i dont know what it looks like as of right now, but i do know it should have some sort of antenna thing going to it. ive seen my antenna part but never dug deep enough to see the rest of it, and btw, mine is not in my dash.

Yea, I would be shocked if the lojack was under your dash - the installers typically hide them in / on a very remote part of the car, so that it would be fairly difficult and/or time consuming for a thief to find and remove it.

I always thought the lojack device was installed under the car on the frame.

My 86 TA had an older style lo-jerk system installed when I bought it. I yanked it out, which was located under the dash. It may vary upon vehicle though. Ive heard units were located under the dash, under the frame, trunk, and other inconspicuous places. And a warning... Wiring was like that of ****ing spaghetti, well, at least mine was. I felt like I was diffusing a bomb when removing mine

Yea... the wiring under my dash scares me... I may take it slow and remove a wire or two every other day...
