Up for sale is my 98 z28 6.0L 6 speed.
leather interior (driver seat has common wear) t tops(dont leak) traction control and working a/c.
the 6.0L LQ9(high output 6.0) has about 45k on it
fresh t-56 with about 300 miles on rebuild.
10 bolt rear with 3.42 gears

car is no longer on insurance i want this gone! called around its gonna cost about 1200 to repair/rebuild the trans. so for 8200 you can have a very nice camaro!

what is actually wrong with the trans?

i broke the output shaft in half. i was driving and got on it and heard a pop got the car trailed home and pulled the drive shaft and the output shaft was just laying there.
called hanlon motorsports and he said im looking at like 1100-1200 to rebuild the trans.

its a beautiful car with nice power and lots of potential just needs a trans rebuild and your good to go.

car DOES run you can hear the motor run( its only open headers now since i had to pull the exhaust to take the driveshaft out.) but it still runs strong.

and honestly im just not interested in the car anymore as i have my mind made up and want to finance a brand new 2010 hyundai Genesis coupe.

would also consider a trade on a nice 98+ s10

9k takes it this weekend! insurance company quoted me one price and today got a bill in the mail saying i own triple the original quote. this needs to go.

as the first post says $9000. car needs a couple minor things and it will be a great car for someone! just dont have the time to get around to working on it.

vibration(poly trans mount needs some miles on it)
smell(had some fluid leak onto the header)
stall(needs battery and there is a loose wire at back of alternator)

my insurance company screwed up and without warning bumped my premium by triple the price. so im not paying more to drive this thing 3k a year than it does for me to drive a fully insured financed 2010 genesis.

since its not insured i cannot take it through inspection, (shouldnt have a problem as there is no cel and has cats.)

as far as that 2k goes you cant touch this car for anywhere near that price. i paid 7 for this car bone stock plus at least another 10 in upgrades. so 9 is a very fair price
