New pic of the camaro

Currently reconstructing my camaro. Repainting it to a jet black color. Right now it has been sanded and body filled. I only had a quart of primer but by the end of the week I'll have it covered in primer then will be ready for paint, should have it done by next week.

man that looks like crap. at least take the time to tape things up, fix the body flaws before you start painting. take your time with it and itll come out half decent.

Yeah I do admit it does look horrible. I'm fixing it up I am going to be sanding it out again then laying another primer over it. Only just started doing it 2 days ago.

you need to sand that car all the way down, fill in the little dents with a little bit of filler, sand it down again, prime it, sand it, prime it, sand it, paint, sand repeat.

When you paint it, remember to remove the license plates, tail lights, and tape up anything else you don't want paint on (like mirrors and glass). Cleaning the primer off those tail lights is going to mess up the lenses.

Also note that the rusted spots that were sprayed over will probably turn to rust again in a few weeks. So take the time to sand, and apply some filler. Like the spot over the passenger rear wheel. Sand the paint drips and runs out too.

Do you know anyone with any body work experience that can help you out or give a few pointers?

My girlfriends neighbor does autobody. He gave me some tips but that was it..I'm sending it over to his house to finish it up. yeah I completely forgot the license plate but I'm going to be cleaning everything up, I ended up getting primer on the windows a bit kind of upset about it but it comes off pretty easy.

And why not fix that GXF piece? Those are the easiest /cheapest 3rd gen GFX to find, get a replacement on there before you go any further.

I am, there's one in a junkyard near my house that has one and it's already black so won't have to repaint it, just got to grab it when I get the chance.
