AC box delete panel...
For the longest time I was under the impression that there was something substantial between the firewall/AC box.. but Kirk ripped his apart with bare hands... brittle fiber glass at best.
So why the need for throwing a piece of steel over a hole that was OEM covered with brittle plastic?
Yes, I know I know, I prob will use a piece of steel but just curious...

honestly for the $80 you cant beat the BMR one... its like 1/8 in aluminum and cutperfect to fit from the inside i kept my heat so i had to drill two large holes for the guide pins on the what was left of the box...

Did you take any pictures of the airway bypass you would have to make to keep the heat? Im in the process of sealing the cut out piece...just wondering how yours came out.

what did you use to cover up the hole? It looks like plastic...Im using some of the sheet metal I had left over from making the delete plate. I planned to use a goop glue or something to attach the metal to the fiberglass, then silicon the delete plate to the heater box before bolting it back to the firewall.
