I used Fed Ex Transport to get a car from OH to NJ. Pricey but fully enclosed and the drivers are aces. They move very high $ stuff and the equipment and skill reflects that.

I've sent a car with DAS out of linden nj, no issues at al, very easy and professiona. And military are paying correct? And yea, with DOD personell, you can keep ur car reg. in ur home of record state while u are stationed anywhere out of state. You can even let inspection expire since its considered a "financial hardship" to make you go back to ur home state. My blazer will never see an inspection sticker.

I always thought that they payed for transport up to one personal vehicle when you PCS, but our admin people said negative on that. I need to get the Camaro & R6 over, preferably at the same time!

das is the way to go...cheapest rates on shipping and very good customer service. ive had two cars shipped by them very long distances...the arrival time is spot on. i would pay the extra cash to have the car loaded on the top though...ive heard of some people having complaints that other crapboxes have leaked oil on their car
